Here is the official forum for CPU-Z (www.cpuid.com).
I'm suprised there isn't a thread on this, but all I ask is you post what type of CPU and what socket type for your system. Mine: Athlon FX-60 Socket 939 http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=418099 My backup: Opteron 185 Socket 939 http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=428144

Q1: CPU-Z reports my CPU running below its clock specification or the clock speed is varying A: This is the effect of C1E (Enhanced Halt State) and/or EIST (Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology) for Intel CPUs, and Cool'n'Quiet for AMD CPUs. Load your system and you will see the frequency increase to its nominal value. Q2: CPU-Z reports a wrong CPU vcore. A: Please download HWMonitor (http://www.cpuid.com/hwmonitor.php) then save monitoring data (menu file -> save monitoring data) and send...
Hi all, I'd like to see the validations database of CPU-Z, but I cannot found a search engine or something else. How can I fin, for example, all the I7 975 validations ? Or All validations on December 25 of 2012 thanks:wub:
I have tried various versions of CPU-Z, and all report the correct memory frequency, except for 1.6.1. What could be the problem? Thanks
Hello folks, perhaps someone can make a guess what is happening here? I'll describe my situation: I am using CPU-Z 1.60.x64 with Ivy Bridge i7-3770k. I have been overclocking this CPU to 4.5 Ghz with manual voltage. EIST, C1E etc. are disabled as the CPU is always running with 4.5 Ghz. With this setup I found a stable vCore setting of 1.235 V (BIOS value). Booting with this setup leads to CPU-Z showing 1.24 V at idle and dropping to 1.232 V under full load.
Hi, Check it out (http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2359711), I have SP9400 Core 2 CPU @ 2.4GHz, yet while doing some very intencive work (Task Manager CPU level @100%), I checked CPUID and found that the CPU is actually runnuing @ ~800Mhz !!! How can I fix this? Cheers, Abdul
Keeps failing with Intel dynamic acceleration with Muti x2 http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2357312 Intel Core2 Duo CPU T9300 @ 2.50GHz'' Intel dynamic acceleration with Muti x2 = 2.7GHz
I wanted to check on my memory timings, and there was nothing displayed in the memory tab. This question has been asked 3 times in the forum, but there has been no answer: http://forum.canardpc.com/threads/45092-CPU-Z-No-value-on-System-Memory-Parameters http://forum.canardpc.com/threads/45059-CPU-Z-Memory-tab-fields-empty http://forum.canardpc.com/threads/45047-CPU-Z-No-value-on-System-Memory-Parameters It seems to be detecting my memory fine in the spd tab. Here is my...
Testing my new Samsung N220 netbook I noticed that CPU-Z is missing all fields under the Memory tab except the Size field. Is it my netbook problem or CPU-Z not recognizing the new hardware? The SPD is OK.
My Dell Dimension E520 (Motherboard OWG864, BIOS 2.4.0, Intel Chipset G965 with latest chipset drivers) has 8 Gb of Corsair DDR2 SDRAM installed (4 X 2Gb). Hi, i overclock my Asus F1A55-M LX with AMD A4-3300 from BIOS but CPU-Z never validated my configuration. Here cap: Here link: http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2333005 Thanks!
I have some old cpuz validates but i cant validate them it says it have to be made on cpuz 1.60+?? i have made them on 1.59..
Hi all Having major dramas with this Mobo my CPU-z dump is here. Please note I have unplugged all other H/D and disabled onboard firewire and floppy controller. Usb legacy set to Bios only http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2318629 I use this machine to write music with Steinberg Cubase 6 and it keeps locking up and freezing. If i disable virtualization in Bios the mobo wont post and restarts itself and wont turn monitors on. The only way around is to reset cmos, unlpug power...
I have a COMPAQ PC with an Intel Core2Duo CPU E4400@2.00GHZ installed the reported bus speed is 200Mhz which seems to be OK. However the CPU-Z screen keeps showing a contantly changing multiplier between the values 6 and 10. Any idea about the possible reason for that and how to overcome this?
My OS is XP SP3 and my mobo is a K8MC51G by First National Computer Inc. It had 768 MB of RAM prior, and for some reason I'll get a black screen accompanied by long beeps when I try to boot with my two new 1 GB sticks (DDR PC3200 200 MHz). It'll work up to 1.5 GB of RAM, when I put one of my old 512 MB sticks (DDR PC3200 200 MHz). I've used the crucial system scanning tool and it says my mobo holds up to 2GB and I've also looked online for info on my board and it also confirms...
Hello all i just built this PC about a month ago and would love anyone's input into tweaking my PC to the max without wasting the 1k i spent building it. Thanks in advance! http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2305652
Hoping someone here can offer a fix, or at least an explanation. When I try to validate I always get the same errors: Auto validation returns error code 6 manual returns File cpuz_4915.cvf upload ok Dump Corrupted I am running an AMD PhenomII x2 550BE on an Asus M4A79XTD EVO I have tried to validate overclocked, stock settings, as a 2 core, and with all 4 cores unlocked. Always get the same errors. Any help would be great.
Here are two files made one after another.
Hi, i am new to the forum... My pc's motherboard mannual shows FSB (front side bus) speed as 2000MT/s or 2.0GT/s. But CPU-Z (version 1.59) scan shows BUS SPEED as 200MHz only... What is the reason for it. Shouldn't my BUS SPEED be 2000MHz ?? Or 200MHz is just fine...I really dont know the reason.. Please guide...!!! Any help will be highly appreciated...:)
I use CPUZ of the latest version (1.59) on my Dell Latitude E6420 laptop and it fails to read SPD info properly. I included two reports had been made one after antother (contain Chipset and Memory sections). I can include full report if it's necessary. Sometimes CPUZ even crashes getting SPD info from slots or doesn't detect second memory module at all.
I cant figure out why Im having such high temps around (92-95C) using linX to stress test at 4.5 GH OC with water cooling. I have a rasa water block and a XSPC bay reservoir pump in one. using feser 1 coolant. Ill post my validation for platform info. The only thing I can think of is I put too much thermal paste on in between water block and cpu. Any help on this would be great. Oh yea used the OC guide by SingularityComputers on you tube basic OC.
Hi, I have a GB P67A-UD3R-B3 and 2600K overclocked at 4.6Ghz however what ever vcore shown in CPU-Z is completely off what I have set in BIOS (1.335 in comparison to 1.056 in CPU-Z). I searched the forums and saw people saying that the new version (1.59) fixed this issue with my mobo, but I still have the same issue of it showing the voltage at 1.056 and its quite annoying trying to see how much I droop, monitoring vcore etc.? Help would be appreciated greatly! Cheers, James
New forum user here. System specs in signature and banner link. Any advice for tweaking bios settings to maximize cpu/ram performance. I'm not really familiar with clock speeds and such. If you need more info to help out, let me know and I'll try to give it to ya. PEACE !
I just registered an account for http://valid.canardpc.com/ and then changed the password. The new password was successfully registered, but I can NOT log in using that password. The password recovery function does not work, since it does NOT generate a new password but simply sends me my current password - the one that does not work. Please clarify how I can fix this? Who should I contact to reset the account password?!
Hello, I am new here, great product. A couple of things I wanted to mention about how CPU-Z identifies one of my older servers. http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2217636 Everything seems to be accurate except for a couple ofthings.
Hey i'm newbie here and just downloaded cpu-z 1.5.9.0 (zip file). thought its usable without installing into and tried and yes, the zip file has the .exe and .ini files and cpu-z opens up. It shows all the info. it needs to and i have left the cpuz configuration file the same way it was with default settings. Now my problem arises , after opening and closing cpu-z in few minutes i observed my fan blowing faster . I ran core temp it showed me higher temps and my cpu is clocked constantly at...
Hello, I was looking for some informations about overclocking my HP dm1z. Actually i found a way to OC using BrazosTweaker, and everything is fine and stable @2100Mhz. Is it possible to go higher with current air cooling and without crashing/burning everything? Here is the dump: http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2193740
Hi, I noticed that with version 1.59 (possibly 1.58), CPU-Z no longer creates the cpuz.vxd file when it launches in Windows 98. As a result, most of the stats are missing. I can circumvent this by copying the cpuz.vxd from 1.57 to the same folder as cpuz.exe, it seems to detect the VXD file and work correctly. Is this a bug, or has official Windows 98 support ended?
I just set up my PC for gaming and I want to play some new games. I dont have a clue how to easily overclock my Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66 Ghz cpu. Help, anybody.
Hi all, i just upgraded a 4GB ram into my laptop, 8GB totally Please advise whether i am running Dual Channel Mode now. By the way i notice my laptop bootup goes slower than before after upgraded the ram. is it becuase my bios need longer time to initialize the new hardware? any idea how to solve it? Thanks
What is this about, i try to validate multiple saved dumps, they are all valid none the less. i need to show difference in base clock, but it only keeps showing me the highest frequency dump, like if i submit a dump with 3.7ghz cpu speed and then try one with high blck and 1.5ghz then it will ignore the 1.5ghz dump. Then if i try to submitt a dump with much higher memory speed and a cpu frequency lower than 3.7ghz it will only show that 3.7ghz dump. I am guessing this is done on...
I can NOT get my multiplier to show as over 6x in cpuz. I've disabled the "speedstep" option in bios, changed the power settings to performance and verified that it shows 100% for both processer options. I am currently running a prime95 test and it STILL shows as 6x. I noticed it jump to 10x for a few seconds when starting a stress test a while ago, but it didn't last and now it won't even jump to 10x for that initial second. I even tried using StopThrottle and NO effect. I tried with...
